We planned some healthy meals and thought about which foods should only be treats. We are growing lots of healthy vegetables.

Class 2 came over today to teach us some more about Charles Darwin. We found out that he wrote a book about worms and how they are good for the soil so we went digging for worms so we can make some of our own worm compost.
We had a brilliant time at the farm. We saw the animals, went on a senses walk, made pancakes and learned all about what farmers do. Photos to follow…
The boys went digging for dinosaur bones and look what they found…treasure! Frankie-Jay wondered if a golden man made of jewels had dropped it as he was walking through school. We then wondered what other adventures the golden man had been on and why he was in our dinosaur dig?
Many thanks to everyone who brought in toilet roll tubes and bird seed after reading the class 1 curriculum letter. We have been very busy making feeders for the birds. We are now watching out to see all the different birds who come and eat from them in the tree house.
With the vegetables that we looked at yesterday we added some mozzarella. Lots of us had never seen it before. We decided to make some healthy pizza to taste the vegetables and they were delicious.
