Celebrating Success.

Today we celebrated achievements we have made out of school. We cheered our friend in the photo as she had earned her first swimming badge. This is so important as swimming is very good exercise. It is also important to learn to swim because it supports us to stay safe and happy when near or in water. How far can you swim?

Our new class author

This week we have had a new class author David Mckee.

This afternoon class 1 went into the library to read a book by our new author. We read ELMER’S SPECIAL DAY. We all enjoyed this book and got very excited about the different coloured elephants.

We are determined to skip well during our sponsored skip to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. This week we practised turning the rope quickly and stepping carefully over the rope when it landed by our feet. How are you getting on with your skipping practice?
